Abstract:
The group worked with multiple community partners to increase teen knowledge of grief resources in an effort to lower suicide rates and improve negative coping mechanisms. Informational flyers were hung in local schools and colleges to spread awareness of available grief resources. The posters were hung in individual bathroom stalls to allow students privacy when reading the resources and be free of judgment. The group received positive feedback from counselors and students who saw the flyers.
