Co-Teaching Quadrilaterals

Abstract:

For five weeks during the Spring ‘22 semester, we spent four weeks at Oglethorpe Point Elementary. During our time here, we had the opportunity to work with Mr. Mimbs’ 5th grade class as well as Mrs. Jackson’s 3rd grade classroom. We shadowed and assisted a fifth-grade teacher at Oglethorpe Point Elementary School. Over four weeks and forty hours we got to know our fifth-grade class and where they were at in their academics. At the end of the four weeks, we taught a lesson on Classifying Quadrilaterals.
