Abstract:

Spring semester of 2022, we had the opportunity to co-teach in Mrs.Fowler’s Kindergarten classroom at Oglethorpe Point Elementary School. During our time at the school, we were tasked with creating a co-teaching lesson that revolved around academic vocabulary and implemented the Universal Design for Learning. In collaboration with each other and our mentor teacher, we created a plan and performed a Eureka math lesson, focusing on the academic language of 5-groups, and the Say-Ten-Way.
