Helping The Needy Through The Elderly

Abstract:
A company that I used to work for on Saint Simons Island GA. Marsh's Edge, runs a food drives all year long with the donations happening before every major holiday. I helped collect cans, pet food, dry goods through the course of the first half of the year to help with this outreach project. I started this initiative while employed there several years ago. This is a great way for the elderly who cannot physically help the community contribute to it in a meaningful way. I learned that the best way for me to help is to facilitate people who want to do good, and those that need help the most.
