Abstract:
The group worked with the College of Coastal Georgia’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance to address potential health disparities faced by this population of students. The Service-Learning group provided educational materials to the students in GSA to describe various type of healthy coping mechanisms and sexual education and awareness. Included in the program were relevant health statistics, safe sex practices, and a list of LGBTQ friendly health resources available in the community.
