Learning by Serving our Ospreys

Abstract:
We were given the opportunity to serve under a 4th grade, ELA teacher at Oglethorpe Point Elementary School to apply what we have learned in our courses at CCGA. We implemented the co-teaching model of parallel teaching. We divided the class into two groups, one reviewing plot, and the other reviewing theme and inferencing. Throughout this lesson, we were able to practice implementing co-teaching, UDL, and academic language supports.
