Abstract:
During our time at Oglethorpe Point Elementary School, we had the opportunity to implement both the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and numerous Academic Vocabulary instructional strategies. OPES welcomed us with open arms while we observed and learned through skilled teachers and their students over a six week period. While we spent time in the classroom, we had the chance to navigate a variety of experiences and challenges and gleaned highly valuable learning opportunities to add to our ‘tool belt’ as future educators.
