Mental Health Awareness in Middle School

Abstract:
The group worked with Frederica Academy to address mental health issues in middle school students. Potential problems include sleep deprivation, disorders of Eating, Stress and Mood, Attention, Autism Spectrum, Confusion, and Depression. The group provided education on recognizing the signs of mental health struggles and mini mental health classes for the students.
