Public Transportation

Abstract:
We created a proposal to get public transportation started in Glynn County. We noticed there was not a way to provide transportation for the whole community. We want to be able to provide transportation for the tourist, college students, the elderly, and the homeless. Not only would this help the residents of Glynn County it will help improve the economy. Providing Public Transportation will help create jobs; such as bus drivers and maintenance crews. This proposal would give residents more access to job opportunities through a greater sense of accessibility. This project helped us realize that there is not a one-step solution and it takes many stakeholders to complete a goal to influence public policy.
