Faculty Supervisor: Jessica Melilli-Hand, MFA, Ph.D.

Abstract:

Our project consists of information on domestic violence, statistics, a written story, and a video. We worked with Glynn County Community Crisis Center, and the Center for Service-Learning. The project affected us personally by opening our eyes to how much domestic violence impacts victims and their families, and communities as well. The project was important because we worked very hard to help spread awareness about a very important topic. We gave information to others as well as spreading the word around campus using colorful and detailed flyers. The project meets all of the service-learning outcomes. I do believe we have some things to work on as far as our presentation.
