Associate Professor of Nursing
Nicole Masano has taught service-learning courses for over four years. In the past, Dr. Masano has collaborated with Associate of Science in Nursing faculty for an obstetrics service-learning unit. She was a Service-Learning Faculty Fellow in academic year 2018-19, presents approximately ten student posters each year at the Service-Learning Symposium, and is on the Service-Learning Advisory Committee. Dr. Masano has also given podium presentations at the Gulf South Summit for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement in 2016 and 2017. She is extremely creative when it comes to looking for new ways to enhance the service-learning component of her courses.
