Service-Learning at Satilla Marsh

Abstract:
The Satilla Marsh service-learning project provided the teacher candidates an opportunity to work with a 3rd grade class. The teacher candidates were given opportunities to assist students on assignments, analyze student work through exit tickets, and provide re-engagement lessons and activities for the teacher to use. By analyzing the student work, we were able to find strengths and weaknesses throughout the class.
