Service-Learning: The Annual Scarecrow Stroll

Abstract:
This student group constructed a display for the College of Coastal Georgia at the Annual Saint Mary’s Scarecrow Stroll and engaged with the St Marys community. The Halloween event allowed students to represent and promote the College by socializing and handing out candy to St Marys families. Students experienced personal growth in leadership skills, communication, and civic responsibility.
