Service-Learning in Math Education

Abstract:
We were placed in a 3rd Grade class at Satilla Marsh Elementary during their math time for our service-learning project. We observed four different Eureka math lessons over four weeks and were given the task of evaluating student work and providing feedback for additional instruction. We provided additional feedback and strategies that positively impact learning, through a re-engagement or extension activity.
