Abstract:
We began by discussing the importance of respecting the water both in pools and at the beach, and steps we can take to be as safe as possible around water by staying close to a parent or another adult, wearing a life jacket, listening to lifeguards and following the rules. We used a Red Cross water safety program to teach children about water safety in a fun and interactive manner.
