A Journey of Cultures

Authors: Malek Mansour, Elizabeth Dasher, and Diego Rodriguez

Faculty Supervisor: Sharon Sellers-Clark, Ph.D.

Abstract:

This project considers various aspects of cultural differences that report on global concerns regarding ethnic or racial dissimilarities - a modern world characterized by formal and informal "equality" of rights and privileges-, its limitations, and its abstract effect on social life. The main goal of this video is to analyze different aspects of cultural differences to assess the extent to which political welfare of various states can influence social belonging and to examine actual debates of contested cultural spaces, which will give us an overview of the most important aspects of the pretended freedom of thinking.
