Dr. Amy Sneed has enriched teacher candidates’ educational experiences through the service-learning courses she has taught. In past projects, teacher candidates have partnered with community based organizations to develop curriculum and afterschool programs to engage students in academic lessons. Dr. Sneed has reached 36 College students and many more K-12 students through service-learning courses. In her role as Chair of the Education and Teacher Preparation department, Dr. Sneed helps to teacher candidates gain practical teaching skills and engage with students for a meaningful educational experience.
