Dr. Marci Culley has been teaching service-learning courses since spring 2013, implementing S-L courses on Environmental Psychology and Program Development & Grant Writing. Dr. Culley has engaged over 50 students with community partners in projects that included assisting with the process of grant writing, conducting preliminary needs assessments, assisting with program development as well as public education and outreach for local community programs, such as Glynn Environmental Coalition's Safe Seafood Program. Dr. Culley encourages her students to get involved with community partners to build connections and solve "real world" problems to enrich their learning experiences.
