Dr. Heather Farley has implemented four service-learning courses and exposed 46 students to hands-on work with public management organizations. Students in her Managing State and Local Government course were given the chance to engage with community partners for the creation of economic development plans. In her courses, Dr. Farley asks students to consider factors such as poverty and sustainability and their relation to economic development. Dr. Farley also serves as the Department Chair for Criminal Justice, Public Policy, and Management. She is passionate about projects involving sustainability and environmental policy.
