Working to Bring About Change with HIS Ministries, Inc.

Authors: Sequoya Aldridge, Jana Steele, and Morgan Crean

Faculty Supervisor: Dr. Phillis George

Abstract:

His Ministries is a street ministry that works with drug abused women and men, to feed and clothe the homeless and also offer a safe place for kids. They provide outreach programs for the youth on Saturdays called The Good News Club, a Tuesday morning men’s bible study and breakfast, and they also offer a Wednesday afternoon luncheon for the woman. This community outreach program is located at 2009 Norwich St, Brunswick GA and the directors are Bill Thomas and Lindsay Morris: they are where the heart of His Ministries began. Bill has been working with many people in need for over 20 years and His Ministries is truly his passion. While working with this community partner, we have grown to love people for who they really are despite where they come from.
