Community Health Needs Assessments for Coastal Health District

Abstract:
Student interns completed a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment in Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties on behalf of Coastal Health District and the respective county health departments as part of their accreditation process. The Assessment involved four stages: collection of public data, collection of survey data, meetings with focus groups, and data analysis. The information from this assessment is now being used to create a Community Health Improvement Plan for each of the three counties.
