Abstract:
The overall message of the presentation will be how institutions, through service-learning and various community engagement efforts, can work together with our local community to support our students and community members. The principles outlined in the presentation of the service-learning project focused on youth, but they can translate to various populations and subpopulations. If we strategically use our partnership ability and student service-learning efforts, we can help our students learn and grow, and change our communities for the better.
