Abstract: Research has found that motivation varies in the way students succeed in college. There are various variables that seem to play a role in academic success, such as personality and motivation. The purpose of the current study is to examine the relationship among conscientiousness, college students' motivation, and success. Therefore, we predict that students who score higher in conscientiousness would also score higher in motivation, and as a result, they would have a higher grade-point average.
