Use these tutorials to help you find what you need in our libraries and in our digital collections. Each tutorial is indexed so you can go straight to the topic you want. Catalog Searches

GIL-Find is the library catalog. Use it to search for streaming videos, eBooks, journal articles, and other materials in the College of Coastal Georgia Library's collection.

GIL Express

GIL Express is a resource sharing service that is accessible through GIL-Find. It lets you check out materials from other libraries within the University System of Georgia.

Coastal Scholar Repository

Coastal Scholar is the institutional repository for research, creative works, publications, and teaching materials of Coastal Georgia faculty, researchers, staff, and affiliated contributors.

Course Reserves

The Course Reserves collection includes books, videos, and other materials that support the teaching activities of Coastal Georgia instructors. The course-related materials are at the Library Help Desk, and may be checked out for in-library use only.

Interlibrary Loan

Can't find what you need in the library catalog or at other USG libraries? A librarian can help you request materials from public libraries, universities, and other institutions across the country and around the world. The service is usually free, but fees may apply for some requests.

R2 Digital Library

R2 Digital Library is a database of medical- and health-related eBooks.

Research Guides

Research Guides, also called LibGuides, are webpages created by librarians. The guides are created for specific courses or programs, or on general interest topics. Each one provides links to books, articles, films, and other resources related to the topic.
