The Titanic: A Century of History and Legacy

1912-2012

The RMS Titanic is one of the most well-known ship catastrophies in history. Despite her marketing as unsinkable, she went down into the frigid waters of the Northern Atlantic ocean on April 12, 2012 after a fateful collision with an iceburg.

The White Star Liner's legacy did not die with her, however. One hundred years later and the world is still captivated. She has not only became simply an occurance in history, but also a muse for fiction, movies, and other media over the years.
