In 2021, Tina McElroy Ansa and Wanda Smalls Lloyd launched the podcast, 2 Old Chicks Who Know A Lot of Sh*t. Ansa and Lloyd were roommates at Spelman College, and both went on to become trailblazers in newspaper journalism. Lloyd's memoir is Coming Full Circle: From Jim Crow to Journalism (University of Georgia Press, 2020), and Ansa wrote the foreward for the book. Ansa and Lloyd also co-edited Meeting at the Table: African American Women Write on Race, Culture and Community (DownSouth Press, 2020).
