Resources for Recycling

One of the most common reasons Americans do not recycle is because they don't know how, when, where, and what to recycle in their communities.
Below are informative links, sites, and resources. Check them out, share them with friends, and let us know if you have any amazing resources you’d like to add to our list. Thanks!

GOVERNMENT - State Agencies

INDUSTRY - Batteries

INDUSTRY - Plastic

iRecycle  Access to over 110,000 recycling and disposal locations for over 240 materials.  Get directions to the nearest site from your current location.  Find local green events near you, or add events through iRecycle to spread the word about what’s happening in your neighborhood.

Aluminate (for iPhone) Gives you all the tools you'll need to keep track of all the aluminum cans you've recycled, and tells you how much money you may earn by taking them to your nearest recycling center. Quickly find recycling locations nearby. Plus, you can form a recycling team, track everyone's progress and post updates to your Facebook wall.
