Cheryl Marie Sullivan, a student at Brunswick Junior College, now known as College of Coastal Georgia, was one of the people fatally injured during the explosion at the Thiokol Chemical Plant on February 3, 1971. She was a Business student who had taken the quarter off to work in her hometown of Woodbine at the Thiokol Chemical plant to earn money for college. She wanted to be an Executive Secretary.
