SOURCE 2021: Police Brutality in the U.S.

Presentation Details

Title: Police Brutality in the U.S.

Presenters: Maygen Tarte and Joselyn Ortiz

Faculty Supervisor: Dr. Mary McGinnis

Abstract: Our poster is on police brutality in the U.S. because it turned into a huge thing this year. Police brutality turned into a social problem, and we wanted to see how much people know about it since it happened several times this year. We also wanted to know what people thought about certain things when it came to this topic. The results from our research surprised us because we did not expect some answers from the survey, we used to find out what people thought about police brutality. We both thought this was an important topic to choose because of how big it became this year.
