EGGar Allen Poets Egg Hunt

Authors: English Composition II Students - Spring 2021

Faculty Supervisor: Emily Boyle, MAT

Community Partner: City of St Marys

Abstract:

Students in Emily Boyle's English Composition course learned about poems by Edgar Allen Poe. They hosted an egg hunt where they took Easter eggs and filled them with poems and candy to introduce poetry to community members. The goal of the project was to introduce members of the city of St.Marys to poetry and use what they learned in an effort to explain to people in the community about his poems.
