Abstract:

We worked with the Brunswick African American Cultural Center (BAACC) to create a PowerPoint for their meeting with the Brunswick City Commission. I felt a personal connection as I am always interested in learning more about African American Culture. It's important for communities to preserve the history of African Americans whether its a building or a piece of Art work. The also have events to help the community. I personally do not live in Brunswick but those who do should check out the opportunities. The also provided education about African American history. The BAACC wants to make sure the preservation of culture resides in Brunswick. I really do hope the Commission can support the BAACC as its promoting good cause for the community.
