Abstract:

Our project was based on the Importance of Spaying and Neutering. We informed the readers that it is very important to get their pet(s) spayed/neutered, that there are many health and behavioral benefits to it. We also talked about how it helps with overpopulation and showed that it helps prevent overpopulation if the pet(s) got spayed/neutered. We showed statistics on how it can change the lifespan of different pets. The community partner we worked with was The Humane Society of Camden County. Personally, this project impacted us each very much, we didn’t know before doing this project that spaying/neutering your pet could have so much impact on them. We think it will have a very big impact on our community for them to see that it can be a big difference in spaying/neutering their pet(s), how it can benefit both as companions. For future implications, our goal is to continue to show our community the importance of spaying/neutering and its benefits.
