Awareness of Taking Care of your Pet

Abstract:
The service partner that we worked with is the Humane Society of Camden County. For your project we decided to create a brochure that showcases the important information about how to take proper care of your pet. Our project consists of the importance of heart worm prevention, the importance of spaying/neutering, and the vaccinations your pet would get if you were to adopt one from the Humane Society. The brochure also has the contact information of the Humane Society in Camden county, and information on how to donate. This project allowed us to learn some ways to help out the community and how to work within a group setting more proficiently. The goal of this project was to inform the public about the ways to take proper care of your pet. This project taught us the necessary skills to work in a group while also allowing us to give back to our community. The project met the goals that we set in the beginning, and can be used by our community partner in any way they choose because it is informational.
