Helmet Safety

Abstract:
This group of BSN students partnered with Kingsland Elementary School and Camden Bicycle Center to look at helmet safety. In working with Camden Bicycle Center they learned the proper way to fit a helmet and they loaned them helmets for demonstration. The group presented a program to four second grade classes at Kingsland Elementary School. In their presentation they discussed with the students how to properly fit and wear a helmet.
