Bright Beginnings Day School

Abstract:
Our service-learning experience was one that we will carry with us indefinitely. Working in a preschool setting, we could easily relate what we learned through course work to the environment in which we volunteered. Children mastering levels of development from a myriad of theories was witnessed. Aside from that, we were able to assess how the children at Bright Beginnings Morning School were being molded to one day be productive citizens within our community. We also witnessed some areas of the program which could possibly be enriched based on how some of our fellow nations, such as Switzerland, Norway, Australia, and New Zealand operate their own school systems and implement curriculums.
