Abstract:

For our service-learning project, our group presented educational and fun games that focus on seep and stress. We decided to do carnival type games to encourage people to participate.  An additional benefit of carnival style games is that we can present this type of activity to any age group. There was an answer and question aspect to the games and if participants got their question right, they would win a goody bag, pen, or other prize. We kept the educational material at a level that can be easily understood by people of all educational backgrounds. Our aim was to educate people on the effects of stress and sleep on each body system and on a person’s emotional and psychological wellbeing.
