Gould Memorial Library on the main campus in Brunswick underwent a major renovation and expansion in 2018-19. Cogdell Mendrala was the architectural firm for the project, and the construction was done by Lavender & Associates.
The changes to the library increased its size by 3,025 square feet, and included an open floor plan, more study rooms, an active learning space, and a new conference room, technology room, and makerspace.
The offices of the ATTIC tutoring services were moved into the library and a new room for the Writing Center was created.
The project was funded by the University System of Georgia, and work was completed in the summer of 2019.
