You want me to read a book?

Yes we do!

Aside from the time spent reading the book, this assignment is actually quite simple.

Find a college-level book about some aspect of history that happened within the time frame covered in your class. Read the book,  write a short review of it and provide some information about the author. The review should have a good introductory paragraph with a thesis. It should have evidence to support the thesis.  It  should also discuss and access the arguments used in the book.  Then summarize the book's strengths and weaknesses. Provide some information about the author's background.

The first page of this guide will link you to all the tools that you will need to find a book and some information about the author. If you need to learn more or are confused about using the library sources in this assignment take a look at the other tabs above. Your also always welcome to consult with our librarians for more assistance.
